EFECTIVE
Research & Development shows that LightAir IonFlow 50 in continuous operation effectively removes practically all airborne pollution particles (size 0.01-1.0 μm), like from dust, smoke, pollen allergens, bacteria, viruses, fungus, mould, pet dander and more. LightAir IonFlow 50 is extremely effective eliminating the smallest particles (nano particles below 0.1 μm) which cause the most severe health problems. These particles represent approx. 90% of all particles in the air. The air purifier also removes larger particles (1.0-25.0 μm) at a reasonable rate.
LightAir IonFlow 50 does not loose effect over time like filter based air purifiers do. For optimal function in a normal indoor environment the recommended area capacity for the air purifier is up to 50 m2 (540 square feet). Easily and quickly clean the collector in hot water and dish liquid once every two weeks or when needed. No need to ever change an expensive filter or spend time on cleaning complicated filter blade systems to keep your air purifier effective. LightAir IonFlow 50 fits into any environment, is easy to use in homes, offices and public areas, hospital, medical or industrial buildings.
ECONOMICAL
No expensive filters to replace. Clean the collector in hot water and dish liquid when needed. Most air cleaning devices on the market have expensive filters that should be replaced at least twice a year. On average such filters cost approx. USD 200. This adds up to a yearly cost of at least USD 400-500.
ENERGY EFICIENT
LightAir IonFlow 50 runs on only 12V and uses less than 7W per hour. This is equal to only 10% of a normal light bulb or less than 10% of most conventional air cleaners. The decorative LED-lights are energy saving and have a long life cycle of 75 000 hours.
OZONE FREE
LightAir IonFlow 50 ozone level is not measurable and therefore considered to be equal to zero. In a third party test of the device the steady state ozone concentration in the test room operated with 0.5 air exchanges per hour remained below the detection limit of the measuring instrument (0.002 ppm). For reference; The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires ozone output of indoor medical devices to be no more than 0.05 ppm. EPA’s National Ambient Air Quality Standard for ozone is a maximum 8 hour average outdoor concentration of 0.08 ppm. According to Consumer Reports many air purifiers on the market surpass the threshold value by emitting ozone of 0.05-0.3 ppm. Learn more at www.epa.gov
SILENT
Less than 5 dB, most other air cleaning devices on the market are fan driven and generate between 35-80 dB, some even higher. A noise level of 63 dB can be compared to the noise of a washing machine or a lawn mower. For reference; a level of 45 dB indoors is identified as preventing activity, interference and annoyance. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
LightAir uses recyclable materials and comply with the RoHS directive. The RoHS directive stands for “the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment”. This directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing higher than agreed levels, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

More and more people are suffering from asthma, allergies and other health problems such as fatigue, headache and concentration difficulties – problems which often stem from the indoor environment. The World Allergy Organization has stated that more than 50% of the world’s western population suffer from allergic diseases or asthma. Scientific evidence in recent years has shown indoor air to be considerably more polluted than outdoor air, even in the most industrialized cities. Given that we spend approximately 90% of our time indoors, the health risk involved is obvious.
Most buildings constructed during the last 60 years have complete, integrated ventilation systems. These have been necessitated by the size of buildings and the use of more impervious, better insulated construction materials. All such buildings function like large vacuum cleaners, with us spending most of our time “in the filter bag”. Inadequate ventilation can increase indoor pollutants from combustion sources, such as oil, gas, coal, wood and tobacco products, building materials and furnishings ranging from insulation material containing asbestos, wet or damp carpeting and furniture made of certain pressed wood materials, products for household cleaning and maintenance, central heating, cooling systems and humidification devices as well as outdoor sources like radon, pesticides and outdoor air pollution. The indoor climate also creates a friendly environment for bacteria, fungus and virus to grow in. The solution is unfortunately not as simple as opening your window and letting in some “fresh” air, least of all if you live in a big city.

LIGHTAIR ION FLOW 50 reaches high performance levels. LightAir uses its unique and patented technology. Instead of moving air through a filtration system, LightAir literally removes harmful particles from the air in a room, trapping them to a collector. When necessary the collector can be easily and rapidly removed and cleaned in hot water – no repeated, costly filter replacement.
Traditional electrostatic and mechanical filter air purifiers quite often present performance based on the airflow at the highest air speed at an unacceptable noise level. The independent test from the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute was carried out in a closed test chamber with a regulated supply of smoke particles and showed the remarkable result of effectively eliminating practically all airborne particles (size 0.3-1.0 μm) in less than five hours.
Tests show that LightAir IonFlow 50 is extremely effective eliminating the smallest particles (nano particles below 0.1 um) which cause the most severe health problems. The extraordinary performance of LightAir IonFlow 50 air purifier is mainly due to its ability to generate enormous volumes of electrons forming an corresponding quantity of negative ions. In fact it generates more than 250.000 ions per cubic centimeter measured at a distance of one meter. This is a level that probably no other ionizer has ever reached before without serious side effects and without generating any ozone. This large amount of negative ions balances out the overdose of positive ions in indoor air, a balance which is proven to be good for our health. Even more important is its capacity to distribute the negative charge throughout the room and collect particles which is directly related to the large production of negative ions.

“Incredible result in a short time for our daughter….”.
Our daughter, now 18 years old, has during her childhood suffered from sore throat,
cough, nasal catarrh and slight asthmatic problems. About two years ago the problems escalated with severe cough and breathing problems.
After months of coughing and visits to doctors she finally got a three month medication
cure for asthmatic problems and also an inhalator for use when it was necessary. After
that it was OK for a couple of months but then all the problems came back (nose, cold,
